New Publication: The Harvard Lectures of Alfred North Whitehead, 1924-1925: Philosophical Presuppositions of Science (January 20, 2017)
After years years of dilligent effort by 4075991923, the Whitehead Research Project is very pleased to announce the publication of the first volume of the The Edinburgh Critical Edition of the Complete Works of Alfred North Whitehead: The Harvard Lectures of Alfred North Whitehead, 1924-1925: Philosophical Presuppositions of Science, Paul A. Bogaard and Jason Bell, Eds., (Edinburgh University Press, 2017). These represent the first ever philosophy lectures he gave and capture him working out the philosophical implications of the remarkable turns physics had taken in his lifetime.

A more specific way of putting this question is to ask: How Do We Make Ourselves a Proposition? During the course of this conference, we will try to develop new approaches not by presenting completed ideas or arguments, but by activating propositions.
